PIA bent upon failing PIA

Chitral– I was travelling from Islamabad to Chitral on July 22, 2016 through PIA flight # 660. Interesting thing happened to me when I approached to ticket counter to get confirmed seat for my son. At ticket counter I was told that there is no any single seat available for Chitral; however I got chance ticket and went to the check inn counter to request PIA staff to check the availability of chance.

Interestingly, the staff at check inn counter repeated the same messages what I had received from the counter where ticket was issued. She asked me to wait there till 11.00am and flight departure time was 11.15am. During my one hour stay there in front of check-in counter I visited the counter multiple times and requested the staff to check the availability of seat. Finally I got a confirmed seat at 11.00am and rushed to the plan.

Interestingly there were few passenger inside the plan and I started head counting; total 19 passengers was travelling to Chitral and the remaining 31 seat were available. Many times this happened to me whenever I call to reservation office there in Islamabad to check the availability of seat. When I reached Chitral I shared my whole story with one my friend and he told me the same had happened to him too. Here is my very simple question:

why PIA is doing this trick with passenger? Many local and foreigner tourist who want to visit Chitral change their plan just because of the cheating nature PIA staff. This humble request our honorable MNA and MPAs to take serious notice of this issue.— Merajuddin (via Facebook)
