GOC visits far flung border villages of Chitral

goc-visite-shah-salimChitral — General Officer Commanding Malakand Division, Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor visited the far flung border village of Sha Siddim in Garam Chahma. He met the locals and distributed food items amongst them. The GOC was accompanied by Commandant Chitral Scouts Col Nizamuddin Shah. Earlier the GOC had visited Boroghol and other places and Comdt Chitral  Scouts also has been making frequent visits to the border outposts of Chitral. It may be noted that after launching of CPEC, flanking border area security has become all the more important and due attention is being paid towards it. — CN report, 05 Nov 2016
