DPO Chitral Vows To Confiscate Drug Dealers Assets

CHITRAL: District Police Office  Chitral (Lower) Ms Resham Jahangir has said that process has begun to enable confiscation of assets and properties of known drug dealers in the district, after fulfilling all legal requirements in this connection.

In a statement the District Police incharge reaffirmed her resolve to uproot the menace of drug addiction which destroying the future of our young generation and that she considers it her official and moral duty to take on this nation destroying menace. The DPO emphatically said arresting the criminals is not enough. What is needed is to cut off their illegally acquired financial vein she said .

The DPO added that all illegal assets of drug dealers are being collected whether they be in the form of immovable property, cars, bank balance etc and consolidated and action will be taken upon completion of legal formalities.  People across the board have appreciated the honest efforts of the DPO and said first time in Chitral such decisive and effective measures are being taken to tackle this peril. ..
