There has been some similarity between the Kalash and the VIkings. Where the Kalash buried their dead in wooden boxes along with food and articles of daily use, the Vikings buried their dead on boats with all the prerequisites alongside to help them in the afterlife. The rich would also have their slaves slain and buried along with them so that they could be served by the slave in the afterlife.
