CHITRAL: Chitral’s southeast castaway valley village of Madak lasht known for it’s scenic beauty, saw another event of collective wedding ceremony last week. The occasion when fifteen pairs tied the nuptial knot was organised by the Aga Khan Social Welfare board.

The area is mostly populated by the Ismaili community who on different occasions display example of healthy acts of discipline and austerity. The custom of collective marriage ceremonies relieving the parents of couples from financial and administrative headaches has also been promoted by the Ismaili community. .. CN report.
