Chitral to see end to electricity problem soon

Chitral : The electricity crisis in Chitral seems to be coming to an end (for the time being at least) after the first unit of Golen Gol Hydel station is to start producing electricity in the next two weeks. A meeting of the National Assembly standing committee on power was held at Koghuzi, the village where the power station is located, presided by the MNA Shahzada Iftikharuddin to sort out modalities of power distribution to different parts of Chitral. People watching the development have appreciated efforts of the MNA for his sincere efforts since quite some time in this direction. Prime minister Pakistan is likely to inaugurate the Golen Gole Hydel project in two weeks time. .. CN report, 29 Dec 2017
