  1. What a beautiful and balanced code of life the Quran teaches.. Only if we could follow them. Just take the example of # 43. “No compulsion in religion (2:256)”. Practically we see that numerous compulsions have been burdened on religion by the clergy. As an example during the month of Ramazan certain category of people are excused from fasting e.g travelers, women in periods or nursing a baby, sick, elderly etc. However there is no concept of accepting concession for such people, let alone giving them facility. Restaurants and rest areas are forced closed on highways. Even those who are exempted by shariah are made to feel guilty on eating. This was just one example. There are hundreds of other to show we are not following teachings of the holy Quran. If we were, muslims would be better people and the world would be a better place.
