Wireless Electricity Transfer: Finland Almost There

Finland is attracting attention for advanced research into wireless electricity transfer, a technology that could soon reduce reliance on traditional electrical wiring. The technology allows power to be transmitted over short distances through the air without a physical cable.

Wireless charging is already used in consumer devices, but transferring electricity on a larger scale remains an area of research and development. If successfully advanced, the technology could have future applications in transport, public infrastructure and energy systems.
