Chitral — Through the courtesy of your esteemed paper, i would like to draw the attention of PTCL authorities towards the poor service of DSL in Chitral. PTCL has badly failed in providing smooth internet facility to its consumers, including banks, Government offices, civil society institutions, Schools, Colleges, Universities and business circles in Chitral district and particularly Chitral town.
It is shocking to note that even the work on providing broadband service through fiber optic system has failed after completion of the project. This is why PTCL authorities could not switch on the new system after the lapse of 8 months. This is high time that a probe should be initiated in the matter and those responsible for the failure should be brought to book. — Dr.Inayatullah Faizi, Chitral 29 Oct 2016
