ZTBL staff attitude criticised

Dear Sir, It has been observed and surveyed that the behavior of all the employees, particularly that of the mobile credit officers, of Zarai Tarqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) remain unethical and bigoted when one applies for agriculture loans.

It is obvious that if the MCO concerned is your relative, friend or colleague he can do your work within the short period of time but if you are stranger then either you have to feed them with heavy meal or wait for years. The second thing is that they have started giving loans first to their relatives and the settled meager amount is divided among the needy people after hundreds of visits to the banks.

 My question from the government officials and concerned authorities is if the loan scheme is given, then why discrimination is made? Why when it comes to the bank in the hand of these people is shuffled with favoritism and nepotism?

Why the needy people going to the bank are teased by the employees instead of better facilitation? While they earn only for the sake of better facilitation and official morale, why they give loan to one person three times by making tricky documentations and not to those who go there repeatedly?

These are real issues raised and realized by the common man inUpper Chitral and need to be addressed technically with fair and transparent way. Otherwise any kind of uproar and turmoil can create chaos in future which will not go in favour of these people.

It is my request to the general managers and other concerned authorities of the bank to ponder upon the case seriously so that the needy people can get their due right without any difficulty and the unfair behavior of the MCOs of asking for bribes could be stopped.–Junaid Khan, Reshun 03 May 2012
