Mobile phone service worsens

CHITRAL, 13 Jul 08: Mobile phone services in Chitral particularly that of 'Telenor' which has emerged the largest service provider largest so far, is  deteriorating with time instead of showing improviement. Network unavailability and overcharging are the common complaints besides poor voice quality. Some consumers have complained of gross depletion of their balance without any apparent reason and inability of the company to satisfy them. Mobile phone consumers from Chitral have asked the regulating authority (PTA) to check exploitation of consumers by mobile phone companies and ensure satisfactory service by them. --(CN report)
