FWO receives accolades from Chitralis

Chitral -- The positive and efficient way of managing the Lowari tunnel by the army engineers Frontier Works Organisation (FWO),  in stark contrast to last year, when it was being managed (rather mismanaged) by the NHA and SAMBU, has received much accolade from the Chitralis. The intentions and efforts of the soldiers to keep the Lowari tunnel and it's approach roads open is markedly visible. In one of the interviews with a TV channel, the in-charge commander of the engineers said travelers were like family members to him and he felt happy and satisfied doing his best to alleviate their travel problems. A number of prominent Chitralis have rung up Chitral News and requested for putting up a vote of thanks to the FWO management engaged in looking after the Lowari tunnels. -- CN report, 09 Feb 2012.
